A system for offering an identification code to an electronic teaching material and a method for the same are provided to control the huge amount of date according to a class and search electronic teaching material contents easily. A system for offering an identification code to an electronic teaching material comprises an identification code creating part(130), an identification code authorizing part(140), an identification code extracting part, a data requesting part and transmitting part. The identification code creating part classifies each syllable, and produces the characteristic identification code by using a first phoneme or a first syllable of each syllable. The identification code authorizing part grants the identification code to meta data of a file storing electronic teaching material contents. The identification code extracting part extracts the identification code after a request to search the electronic teaching material having the intrinsic identification code from a terminal. The data requesting part requests the electronic teaching material contents data matching with the identification code from a web server. The transmitting part transmits the electronic teaching material data to a user terminal.
