#CMT# #/CMT# The positive-displacement machine has a spiral-shaped delivery chamber (11) arranged in housings between cylinder walls (14,15). A housing edge (19) is formed, as a transition between a raised part and lowered part of the outer cylinder wall, as a bulbous thickened portion. The machine operation prevails a higher pressure in the outer, sickle-shaped working chamber than in the suction chamber (16).
