PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer controlling device, in which the jitter of pseudo BD (beam detect) is reduced. SOLUTION: The printer controlling device includes a means for inputting a crude BD signal directly to a controller side as indicated in Fig. 1, a means for confirming that the input crude BD signal is in a stable state, a means for sampling the stabilized crude BD signal, and a means for producing pseudo BD signals corresponding to respective image signals of respective colors from the sampled crude BD signal.
