PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cavity unit for a liquid drop delivery head capable of preventing a common liquid chamber and a damper space from being in mutual communication even in case a missing or through hole is formed in a damper wall caused by slipping-off of the mixture component of a damper plate material in association with a thinner wall construction of a damper wall. SOLUTION: The cavity unit 10 of the liquid drop delivery head includes a second common liquid chamber plate 25 having a common liquid chamber hole 25a and a damper plate 26 having damper wall 26a, wherein the damper wall 26a forms a thin walled portion 26d whose contour viewed on the plan is greater than the contour viewed on the plan of the common liquid chamber hole 25a and peripheral edge has a smaller thickness than the central part 26c, and the second common liquid chamber plate 25 and the damper plate 26 are adhered in such a condition that the thin walled portion 26d is positioned outside the common liquid chamber hole 25a when viewed on the plan.
