PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a NC lathe machining system continuously supplying a coil-like workpiece and using the coil-like workpiece, and a NC lathe machining method using the coil-like workpiece. SOLUTION: This NC lathe machining system 50 uses the coil-like workpiece W1. The machining system 50 is provided with a coil stand 30 for rotatably mounting the coil-like wound coil-like workpiece W1, a linear machine 40 for making the curled coil-like workpiece W1supplied from the coil stand 30 into a straight line shape and making the workpiece W1into a linear bar material W2, a cutting device 41 for cutting the bar material W2supplied from the linear machine 40 into a short material W3conformed to a complete workpiece W length dimension, a conveying means 49 for conveying the short material W3to a NC lathe 10, and the NC lathe 10 for taking the short material W3in a machine and machining the material W3.
