PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality semiconductor device suitable for an electronic device such as a radio communication terminal.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device 601 according to one embodiment comprises a calculation unit CPU provided on a semiconductor chip and a temperature sensor TS for measuring a temperature of the semiconductor chip. A measured temperature Ta measured by the temperature sensor TS is compared with a predetermined reference temperature Tref. If the measured temperature Ta is higher than the reference temperature Tref, a frequency of an operation clock supplied to the calculation unit CPU is switched from a first frequency to a second frequency higher than the first frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
