There is disclosed a system for finding and locating available a system for locating a parking space within a parking area; the system comprising: a mobile application module (10) configured to send a request for parking space, location and execute navigation data; a data acquisition module (15) configured for retrieving data based on the parking lot and storing said data; and a web server (30) being in communication with the mobile application module (10) and the data acquisition module (15). In one embodiment, the web server (30) is configured to process information received from the mobile application module (10) or the data acquisition module (15) and generating an output to be sent to the mobile application module (15). The output includes at least; an overall floor view of the parking area and an allocation of parking space and navigation data for directions to the allocated parking space. A method is also disclosed herein. |
