PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector ferrule capable of previously preventing an adhesive charged into a ferrule body from leaking from a space between a boot inserted into an insertion opening and the insertion opening.SOLUTION: A step groove-like adhesive retaining part 16 is provided in a corner portion in the opening outer edge part of an insertion opening 14 having a square opening shape of a ferrule body 10 obtained by sequentially connecting the insertion opening 14 provided on the rear end side in order to insert and support an approximately square cylindrical boot having an optical fiber core wire at the tip with an optical fiber core wire insertion hole 13 provided on the front end side in order to insert the tip portion side of the optical fiber core wire into the innermost portion of the insertion opening 14 and expose the tip portion outward. Prevented is a leak of an adhesive charged in order to fix and hold the optical fiber core wire from a space between the boot and the insertion opening 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
