PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carry-measuring instrument which can automatically measure and store a carry without use of an operation button by a player who is at a shot position or at a ball-reached position.SOLUTION: A carry-measuring instrument comprises a measuring instrument body 1 which is worn on an arm of a golf player. The measuring instrument body 1 includes: a processing unit 12 which can calculate a position of the golf player on the basis of a radio wave from a positioning satellite; an actual-shot detecting unit 15 for detecting whether or not the golf player shot a ball; and a storage unit 14 which stores the position where the ball is shot as an actual-shot position. When the actual-shot detecting unit 15 detects shooting the ball, the processing unit 12 determines the actual-shot position and calculates a distance from the last actual-shot position to the new actual-shot position as a carry of the ball, and the storage unit 14 stores the carry.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
