PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote recycling by facilitate replacement of a tape and the like stored in a cassette. SOLUTION: A tape cassette TC comprises a lower cassette T1 for storing a tape to be used in a tape-setting apparatus and an upper cassette T2 for covering the lower cassette T1. Moreover, the tape cassette TC is provided with an engagement part for locking the upper cassette T2 and lower cassette T1 to prevent disengagement, and a covering member T4 for the engagement part. A display part T5 for indicating a type of the tape or the like is set to the covering member T4.
