AN ESSENTIAL HYPERTENSION ASSOCIATED GENE AND THE DETECTING METHOD AND THE USAGE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a variant of the alpha- 1 A adrenergic receptor gene. Compared with the registered sequence of the alpha-IA adrenergic receptor gene in the GenBank, namely UniGene : HS 520951, db xref : Locus ID:148; db xref. MIM:104221, this variant is différent in the G allele for the C2547/G polymorphic variation. The allele of the said C2547/G variation is "G" in the 266 position of the sequence set forth. by SEQ ID NO 1. The present invention further relates to the in vitro method to detect the essential hypertension associated gene, and to detect the risk for essential hypertension, and the corresponding kits for detecting the alpha-lA adrenergic receptor gene. The present invention also relates to the usage of said gene and the kits in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of essential hypertension.
