PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a particle torsional damper which provides a simple and practical form, as a technical problem to be solved, by contriving a mutual lay-out between an inertia body element and an attaching element. SOLUTION: The particle torsional damper D of the present invention is provided with: the attaching element 1 attached to a vibration damped shaft 5; the inertia body element 2 attached thereto, and a clutch element 3 abutting to the both. The attaching element 1 has a disk 11 with an outer circumferential part formed into a friction ring 12, in the vibration damped shaft 5, the inertia body element 2 is constituted of an annular casing mass 20 provided with an operation chamber 22 in its inside, and is supported by a bearing 13 sided to a disk 11 outer circumference under the condition of incorporating the friction ring 12 in the operation chamber 22, and the clutch element 3 is stored in the operation chamber 22 in a movable condition, by a plurality of particle states, and contacts with both an inner wall 22a and the friction ring 12.
