PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric body having superior balance and high quality at low cost, and to provide a piezoelectric speaker. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric body 10 in which a piezoelectric element 12 is attached at a metal plate 11 has a via hole 14 formed in the center of metal plate 11. In order to maintain balance with the center of the via hole 14, a piezoelectric element 12 is located in a way that the portion of the via hole 14 is avoided, and attached to one or both sides of front and back faces of a metal plate 11.
