PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated circuit for transferring a signal between systems of different signal forms at high speed. SOLUTION: An MGbps transponder for transferring a signal of MGbps bit rate between systems of different signal forms while converting the signal form, an NGbps transponder for transferring a signal of NGbps corresponding to quadrupled bit rate of the MGbps signal, and an MGbps multiplex transponder for transferring the NGbps signals while multiplexing the MGbps signals are implemented in a 1 chip integrated circuit or a 2 chip integrated circuit of the same circuitry.
