Course and sail-plan predictor

A calculating tool for determining the best course a sailing boat should take in order to reach a set point comprises relatively-rotatable parts having which are adjusted to reflect wind speed and direction and water currents. The guide indicates also the sail plan to be adopted. The tool has a base 1 marked with a wind direction reference line 2 and other parts are pivotedly mounted on this to indicate other parameters.
