<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing excellent in the rotation performance and the lubrication performance, which can release pressure in the bearing to the external of the bearing while preventing the foreign matter from penetrating. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling bearing is equipped with an inner race (stationary race) 14 which is maintained in a non rotational condition, an outer race (rotary race) 16 which is rotated facing to the stationary race and a hermetic seal mechanism to seal the inside of the bearing which is demarcated between the stationary race and the rotary race from the outside of the bearing. The hermetic seal mechanism is equipped with a shield 22 of which the base end 22e is fixed to the stationary race and the head 22t is positioned in the non-contact condition to the rotary race, and a seal 24 of which the base end 24e is fixed to the rotary race, the head 24t extends towards the stationary race and the extended end (lip Lp) is positioned in the sliding and contacting condition to the shield, and a valve structure 38 which accepts to flow the liquid from the inside of the bearing to the external of the bearing is equipped with the shield fixed to the stationary race. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
