PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance appearance of solidity by heightening a shaft section supporting axially active pointers, without disfiguring, in an instrument device which is equipped with an indicator plate with a scale section, arranged in the circumferential direction, an aperture prepared on the indicator plate, a shaft section turnably inserted into the aperture and an active pointer deployed on the top of the shaft section for pointing the scale section. SOLUTION: A reflecting surface reflecting light is prepared at the site of the circumferential surface of a shaft 5, at least exposed upward from an aperture section 31a. At the site of circumferential surface of a shaft 5 exposed upward from an aperture section 31a, a large-diameter section 41a of a diameter larger than that of the aperture section 31a is prepared, while a reflecting surface is prepared on the circumferential surface of the large-diameter section 41a. An indicator plate 3 has optical transparency and is equipped with a light source 7 for irradiating a light upward, from downside of the indicator plate 3.
