PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detection sensor manufacturable inexpensively, having superior sealability for preventing penetration of water from the outside, capable of preventing generation of internal thermal strains caused by internal heat generation or temperature change of the external environment or damages to a sensor component or its peripheral circuit part, due to external force. SOLUTION: This rotation detection sensor A, fixed to a sensor fixing member 7 mounted on a bearing for a wheel. A sensor unit B, is constituted of a sensor element, a cable 10 and a substrate 11. The sensor unit B is fixed to the sensor fixing member 7 by the substrate 11. A molding part 8, formed of a mold material in the adhering state to the substrate 11, is provided at the periphery of the sensor unit B. On the substrate 11, a metal pattern part 13 comprising a metal coating is provided on the substrate surface at the periphery of a conductive pattern part 3, and the mold material is made to adhere onto the metal pattern part 13.
