PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dome-shaped tip cap, and a related method to that. SOLUTION: A turbine bucket 110 includes a dovetail mounting part 12, a shank part 14 defined by a platform at a radially outward end part, and a blade-shaped part 118 extended from the platform radially outward. The blade-shaped part has the radially outward end part that is closed with a tip cap 120. The tip cap has such a non-planar shape as to reduce stress at the tip cap when in use. The related method for reducing stress at the tip cap of the turbine bucket includes a step of preparing the blade-shaped part 118 of the turbine bucket provided with the radially outward end part, and a step of closing the radially outward end part with a tip cap having the non-planar shape to reduce stress at the tip cap 120 when in use.
