Disclosed is a polymer compound derivative obtained by modifying a part of a hydroxyl group or amino group in a polymer compound having a hydroxyl group or an amino group with a compound represented by the following general formula (I). A-X-Si(Y)nR3-n (I) In the formula (I), A represents a reactive group reactive with a hydroxyl group or an amino group; X represents an optionally branched alkylene group having 1-18 carbon atoms or an optionally substituted arylene group; Y represents a reactive group which forms a siloxane bond by reacting with a silanol group; R represents an optionally branched alkyl group having 1-18 carbon atoms or an optionally substituted aryl group; and n represents an integer of 1-3.
