<p>Provided are a potting structure and a potting method for an inverter-integrated type electric compressor, in which a housing containing the drive circuit parts of a compressor including an inverter is filled with silicone gel. The potting structure is characterized in that a cylindrical member is disposed in the silicone gel so that a vent hole in the cylindrical member is formed as an aeration hole from the housing inside. The cylindrical member can be reliably arranged at a predetermined position of a potting material made of the silicone gel, and the vent hole of the cylindrical member can be formed as the aeration hole. Therefore, the potting structure of the inverter-integrated type electric compressor can be made of the silicone gel having excellent characteristics as the potting material.</p> |
