Method and device for producing solar cell strings

The method involves connecting solar cells (1,1',1") by a conductor strip (5) of preset length. The solar cells are spaced from one another in a string cell spacing, until desired numbers of solar cells are connected together for producing a solar cell string (11). The solar cell (2) is connected with solar cell (1') by elongated conductor strip (7) and is spaced from solar cell (1') with greater spacing distance (t) than string cell spacing to form a solar cell string (12). The elongated conductor strip is separated from solar cells (1',2) to decouple the solar cell string (11). An independent claim is included for device for manufacturing solar cell strings.
