PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of providing a rice boiling step in which uneven boiling is suppressed by raising the temperature in a water absorbing step in a condition with the temperature in an inner pot kept as uniform as possible.SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: the inner pot 30 in which an object to be cooked is loaded; a rice cooker body 20 with an inner pot housing part 20a for housing the inner pot 30 in such a way that the inner pot can be taken out; a heating means 25 for heating the inner pot 30; a temperature sensor 26 for detecting the temperature of the inner pot 30; and a heating control means for controlling the heating means 25 so that the temperature of the inner pot 30 detected by the temperature sensor 26 is prescribed temperature. In the water absorbing step in which the temperature of the inner pot 30 is 50°C or lower, the heating control means controls the heating means 25 so that the temperature of the inner pot 30 rises via a plurality of temperature rising stages in which the temperature of the inner pot 30 gradually rises. |
