PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a method for manufacturing the display device.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a display device and a method for manufacturing the display device, the display device including: a first substrate with a first outer surface and a first inner surface; a second substrate with a second outer surface and a second inner surface opposed to the first inner surface of the first substrate; a display part between the first and second substrates, having a display element, the first substrate having a first constant part with a constant width and a first increase part having a width which increases as the first increase part becomes nearer the first inner surface and becomes further from the first outer surface, and the second substrate having a second constant part with a constant width and a second increase part having a width which increases as the second increase part becomes nearer the second inner surface and becomes further from the second outer surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
