PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect with improved accuracy a foreign matter present near a detection coil, namely a magnetic coupling element, without newly providing a sensor.SOLUTION: The transmission device includes: a power reception coil L2 disposed on a magnetic shield material 41; detection coils L3-1-1 to L3-10-1 disposed so as to overlap the power reception coil; and detection coils L3-1-2 to L3-10-2 disposed so as to overlap the power reception coil and the detection coils.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
