AGROCHEMICAL SPRAY TREATMENT AND SPRAY FORMULATIONS

Plants can be treated by spraying with a formulation including at least one compound of the formula (I): (R<2>)p-Ph-(CH2)m-COO-(AO)n-R<1> (I) where R1, AO, n, m, Ph, R<2> and p have defined meanings, particularly alkyl benzoates, together with at least one surfactant and/or an agrochemical, is sprayed onto the plant or onto the immediate environment of the plant. The compouds of the formula (I) are effective solvents which have low environmental impact. The invention includes spray treating plants with a crop oil formulation based on compounds of the formula (I); and/or herbicides and/or pesticide formulations including compounds of the formula (I).
