PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine wherein, even when large centrifugal force is applied to a rotor, deformation in a coil end and flying-out of an electric wire can be prevented. SOLUTION: At a coil end, electrically insulating non-woven cloth 30 or an insulating spacer formed of insulating material is placed between the end of the outer circumferential surface of the coil end or the entire coil end and a bind tape.
