PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which conducts user authentication, using a POP picture at the time of a file access by an internet facsimile system that uses HTML system, needs the registration of user data and registers security and the user data. SOLUTION: In a network facsimile machine provided with e-mail transmitting and receiving functions, when transmitting image files by e-mail, the image files are stored in a server, unique names are sequentially attached to a plurality of image files, the thumbnail of the image files read for transmission is prepared, and a thumbnail image file is attached to files in an HTML format. The thumbnail image file of the HTML files is linked to the image files in the server, the HTML files are registered in the server, and the link of the HTML files is transmitted by e-mail.
