PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which reduces bandwidth compression in a network connected with other port, when a communication frame is not received over a predetermined effective time, from an address of unicast transfer object.SOLUTION: A first communication device includes a relay control section performing unicast transfer of a second communication frame, for the reception port of the first communication frame, when the second communication frame to the source address of the first communication frame is received, after receiving the first communication frame, and a validity inquiry section transmitting a validity confirmation request for inquiring communication propriety to the source address, when a state not receiving a communication frame from the source continues over a predetermined effective time. When a validity confirmation responce, indicating that the communication for the source address is possible, cannot be obtained for the validity confirmation request, the relay control section performs flooding transfer of the second communication frame received subsequently.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
