<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the cut of a linear body reliably for preventing a breakup/separation apparatus, for example, from being damaged in the breakup/separation apparatus for rewinding the linear body for taking out a core from a concentric stranded wire in which the linear body is wound around the core. <P>SOLUTION: The first rotor 10 and the second rotor 20 are installed in the front and behind, respectively, and a stationary take-up mechanism 30 supported by both the rotors is provided in the middle. Both the rotors are rotated in synchronization in a direction opposite to the winding direction of the linear body by a motor 56, and the linear body is passed through the guide pipe 4 mounted to the peripheral section of both the rotors for converging at the rear of the second rotor 20. A guide plate 19A in which a hole for passing the linear body is formed is fitted to the front of a bearing section 53 in the first rotor 10, the guide plate 19A is insulated electrically, and a low voltage is applied between itself and the concentric stranded wire. When the cut linear body comes into contact with the guide plate 19A, current flows between them.
