<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment and a communication method for surely acquiring print content whose printer device is designated by accessing a server on the network according to an action from a host device. <P>SOLUTION: This communication equipment P1 is provided with a communication part 15 for communicating with a server device W and an external device P2 on a network L for managing content; a database part 16 for storing route certificate data; and a processing part 9 for transmitting a request for making the external device on the network acquire and process the address information and content of the server device W from the server device to the external device, and for making the server device perform authentication processing based on the route certificate data when receiving a processing error signal from the external device, and for acquiring the content from the server device, and for supplying the acquired content to the external device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
