<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for maturation-promoting/modifying wine, easily and hygienically favorably settable on a wine bottle just before drinking wine and capable of maturation-promoting/modifying the wine in compliance with drinker's liking. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a table 2 on a base 1, the nonmagnetic bottle 3 containing the wine 4 and to be set on the table 2 just before drinking, and a unit for applying alternating magnetic field onto the wine 4 from the outside of the bottle 3.
