PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a barrier rib of row direction from tilting to cell side at firing the barrier rib by installing a protruding part lower than the barrier rib of the row direction to connect two divided barrier ribs of the row direction at a ventilation passage installed by dividing the barrier rib of the row direction into two in column direction. SOLUTION: In the plasma display panel in which a discharge space is formed between a pair of substrates, in which the discharge space is divided at every cell by a lateral barrier rib extending in the row direction and a vertical barrier rib extending in the column direction, in which the lateral barrier rib is divided into two in the column direction and in which the ventilation passage is formed in the divided part, the protruding part lower than the lateral barrier rib to mutually connect the lateral barrier rib divided into two is formed in the ventilation passage.
