<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method by which a good image is obtained by achieving development stability in both environments at low temperature and low humidity and at high temperature and high humidity, and by which harmful effects on an image due to long-term disuse are eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method includes developing an electrostatic latent image on a surface of an electrostatic latent image carrier with a toner which a toner carrier carries, wherein the toner carrier includes a conductive elastic layer and a conductive resin layer constituting an outermost surface layer, the surface layer has a contact angle to ethylene glycol of 60-90°and a contact angle to diiodomethane of 30-38°, the toner is a nonmagnetic monocomponent toner comprising toner particles obtained by an emulsion polymerization aggregation method, and an average circularity R1 of the group of particles having 10-90% of a particle diameter of the toner particles and an average circularity R2 of the group of particles having≥90% of the particle diameter satisfy 0.930≤R1≤0.965 and 0.970≤R2≤0.990. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
