PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of certainly treating a surplus hydrogen gas discharged from a first combustor without causing the system efficiency to deteriorate.
SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a reformer which makes a fuel, consisting of an organic compound containing carbon and hydrogen react with water and converts into a hydrogen-containing gas, a first fuel cell which generates power by reacting the hydrogen-containing gas, obtained by the reformer and an oxygen containing gas; a first combustor which burns hydrogen in the exhaust gas discharged from a fuel electrode of the first fuel cell and supplies heat to the reformer, a first oxygen-contained gas supply means, which supplies the oxygen containing gas to the first combustor and controls temperature of the reformer, according to the flow rate of the oxygen containing gas; a second fuel cell installed at the downstream of the first combustor and generates power, by making hydrogen-containing gas and the oxygen containing gas discharged from the first combustor react; and a second combustor which is installed at the downstream of the second fuel cell.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
