PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it take time to generate reference timing for measuring a delay fluctuation amount on a packet network.SOLUTION: A transmission-side time synchronization device transmits a test packet for measuring delay fluctuation to a reception-side time synchronization device in a preset transmission cycle. The reception-side time synchronization device generates first reference timing indicating a reception cycle of the test packet, calculates the delay fluctuation amount based on a time difference between reception timing of the test packet and the first reference timing, corrects deviation of time from the transmission-side time synchronization device, and discriminates whether time information of the first reference timing is valid/invalid based on a device state. If the time information of the first reference timing is valid, time information of the first reference timing is stored. If the first reference timing disappears, the first reference timing is restored based on the stored time information of the first reference timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
