A toilet (1) having a bowl (2) with a rim (5); a discharge conduit (4); a flush water distributor (10); and a means (9) for pumping air out of the bowl (2). All air pumping conduits (7) begin inside the bowl (2) of the toilet (1) and are equally spaced in a circle around the rim (5) of the bowl (2). Furthermore, the air pumping conduits (7) are situated higher than flush water conduits and are connected to an air evacuation reservoir (6). In addition, the air pumping conduits (7) are downwardly inclined. A toilet of the above design provides for the steady exhaustion of air from the toilet bowl and generates an even stream of air into the middle of the bowl with the subsequent evacuation of noxious air from the confines of the room in which the toilet facility is located. |
