Provided is a nitrile rubber composition characterized by comprising: a carboxyl group-containing highly saturated nitrile rubber (a) that comprises α,β-ethylenic unsaturated nitrile monomeric units at a proportion of 5-60 weight% and that has an iodine value of at most 120; carbon black (b); and a polyamine crosslinking agent (c); wherein the content of the carbon black (b) is at least 100 parts by weight and less than 200 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the carboxyl group-containing highly saturated nitrile rubber (a). The present invention can provide a nitrile rubber composition which has excellent physical properties in an ordinary state, compression set resistance and sour gasoline resistance, and which is capable of providing crosslinked rubber substances having a small permanent elongation.
