[Problem] To enable reliable feeding of the leading end of a printing tape, that has been pulled back inside a cartridge case, towards the outside from a tape dispensing opening. [Solution] A tape cartridge is provided with the following: a cartridge case 45; a platen roller 44 that feeds an ink ribbon R and a printing tape T, which are pressed between a printing head 31 and the platen roller; a tape dispensing opening 47 that is provided in the cartridge case 45, and that feeds the printing tape T, after being separated from the ink ribbon R, to outside of the cartridge case 45; and a dispensing guide 52 having a front side guide section 53 and a rear side guide section 54 that extend from an edge of the tape dispensing opening 47 to the inside of the cartridge case 45 while spreading apart from each other. The front side guide section 53 of the dispensing guide 52 has a guide surface 61 in which a leading-end section 53b is at a greater distance from a virtual line A that passes through the tape pressing position and the center of the tape dispensing opening 47 than a base end section 53a. |
