PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method of an oxide superconducting wire rod, which allows the superconducting wire rod to be used even when inspection is conducted, and a manufacturing method of the oxide superconducting wire rod, which uses the inspection method.SOLUTION: In an inspection method of a superconducting wire rod 10 including an oxide superconductor and a coat, a critical current of the superconducting wire rod 10 is measured after the superconducting wire rod 10 is brought into contact with an acid liquid 21, so that the presence or absence of a portion where the oxide superconductor is deteriorated due to the contact with the acid liquid 21 or a position of the portion is identified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
