PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove an organic material such as a coolant from sludge containing silicon, and recover the silicon of high purity.SOLUTION: A silicon recovery method includes a separation process of performing solid-liquid separation of sludge containing silicon, and a cleaning process of cleaning a solid content separated in the separation process by using pure water. Impurity adhered to the solid content (for example, an organic material such as a coolant) can be removed from the solid content by cleaning the solid content separated in the separation process by using the pure water as cleaning water in the cleaning process, and occurrence of failure that the impurity originally contained in the cleaning water itself adheres to the solid content during cleaning can be suppressed. Thereby, the organic material such as the coolant can be efficiently removed, and the silicon of high purity can be recovered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
