PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large towering structure demolition method capable of easily and safely demolishing a lower layer of multi-leg steel stack only by a work on the ground in a short time after completing demolition of an upper layer.SOLUTION: (a) A lifting device with a penetration beam capable of lifting up and down by a jack is installed so as to surround a brace of a large towering structure. (b) The penetration beam is passed through a vertically long opening formed at lower part of the brace and fixed to the jack. (c) The large towering structure is lifted up through the penetration beam after lifting up the penetration beam by the jack. (d) The lower part of the brace is cut and removed. (e) The large towering structure is lifted down by the jack. The processes (b) through (e) are repeated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
