Imaging optical device ensuring focus independently of the object position

The device has an optical system (300) including several lenses, an image receiver (320) intended to capture an image of a target object and a lighting system (310) for the object. The receiver is placed on the image surface (312) across the optical system at a distance from lighting surface (311). The position of the receiver can be modified with respect to the optical system. An independent claim is also included for a utilization of an imaging device for barcode reader, in telemetry application, surface control application, aerial photograph application and nocturnal photograph application.
