<p>The wrapping paper is coated on at least one surface, using a hydrogenated fat of plant- or animal origin. Its melting point is 45-62 [deg]C, and the coating quantity is up to 10g/m2>. The hydrogenated fat melting point is 51-54[deg]C. The weight ratio of stearic acid to the longer- and shorter chain fatty acids is 50 : 50 to 80 : 20, preferably 60 : 40 to 75 :25. Its iodine number is below 20, preferably 5-10. Alternative coating weights are presented. The wrapping paper is in the form of a bag. Coating takes place in an immersion bath at up to 80[deg]C, followed by rolling for quantitative reduction of the coating. An independent claim is included for the corresponding method of manufacture.</p> |
