The invention relates to nanoparticles obtained by destruction of minerals for use as a medicament. Such nanoparticles exhibit high intrinsic activity, anti-bacterial, anti-viral action and can also be used for treatment of cancer and for healing wounds. Preferably, rutiles, sphenes, loparites, perowskites, anatases, ilmenites, leukoxenes, ferrites and quartzites are used for production of nanoparticles. Preferably a layer 12 of a mineral source is subjected to a thermal destruction by application of alternating cooling and heating modes, preferably using a thermo-element. |
