<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for suitably protecting registration information stored in a portable storage device. <P>SOLUTION: A registration information receiving part 30 receives a request for recording registration information related to contents in the portable storage device in which contents data are stored, from a user. A registration part 31 acquires the registration information and records the registration information in the storage device. A shared management part 32 receives setting information whether the reading of the registration information by the other apparatus is to be permitted or the reading of the registration information by the other apparatus is inhibited and the registration information can be read out only by the apparatus itself and records shared information indicating the set information in the storage device correspondingly to the registration information. A reading request receiving part 33 receives a request for reading out the registration information from the storage device. A judgment part 34 reads out the shared information corresponding to the registration information from the storage device, judges whether the apparatus is permitted to read out the registration information or not, and when the reading is not permitted, inhibits a registration information reading part 35 to read out the registration information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
