PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise and optimize the transmission output of a wireless communication apparatus without causing impairment of frequency characteristics, or the like.
SOLUTION: A dielectric substrate 10 is placed on the non-ground region 6 of a circuit board 4 where the non-ground region 6 and a ground portion 5 are arranged contiguously at the end of a substrate, and a feeding radiation electrode 2 and a parasitic radiation electrode 3 are formed on the dielectric substrate 10 thus forming an antenna unit 1. In the region where the ground portion 5 is provided, a transmission line 8 under a state insulated from the ground portion 5 is formed in the shape of a dashed line dotted in the line lengthwise direction. As shown on Fig. 1(b), adjoining transmission lines 8 are connected by a chip component 22 having a circuit constant for impedance matching. A phase regulation means connects one end side 24 of the connected transmission line 8 with the feeding side end 12 of the feeding radiation electrode 2, connects the other end side 23 with the I/O portion 11 of a circuit for wireless communication, and regulates the phase of power being fed from the circuit for wireless communication to the feeding radiation electrode 2.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
|
