PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece dial formed with a deep color such as a black color, while securing a light transmissive property, and a timepiece equipped with the dial. SOLUTION: A plurality of V-shaped grooves 12 with at least one face 12A formed into a sloped face is formed in arrays in parallel on the dial 10, and a black color layer 15 is provided on the sloped face 12A of the each groove 12.
