PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity universal joint allowing the welding of a band by a laser, without using a back bar, when winding and fixing the metallic band on and to the outer periphery of a boot, by installing the bellows-shaped boot on an outer ring of a drive shaft. SOLUTION: A seal means is arranged for preventing leaking-out of lubricating oil of a lubricating oil holding part 80 inside of the boots of a constant velocity universal joint. A first projection part 50 and a second projection part 52 are arranged in an outer ring member 18, and a third projection part 56 and a first recessed part 58 are arranged on the inner periphery of the boots 14, in a first boundary part 70 being a boundary part between the boots and the outer ring member.
