A tunnel structure of a city railway or a light electric railway is provided to reduce the cost of construction at construction of a city railway or a light electric railway, to minimize traffic inconvenience by minimizing a workshop under construction, to develop cities equally by constructing a city railway or a light electric railway without buying a site to a narrow area, to improve the quality of air in a tunnel by running a train in one direction and promoting natural ventilation, and to use as an escape route by not influencing the opposite track in an emergency such as a fire, etc. A tunnel structure of a city railway or a light electric railway is formed in a two-story structure for running an up train and an outbound train on an upper story and a lower story by differing stories for an up train and an outbound train in an open cut tunnel constructed to an underground main line section of a city railway or a light electric railway.
